TORONTO - Canadian Tire Corp. (TSX:CTC) has signed a multi-year deal with TSN (TSX:BCE) that will see the sports broadcaster develop and produce content for the retailer's advertising.
The partnership covers all of the Canadian Tire banners, including Sport Chek, Mark's and Sports Experts.
TSN will develop and produce content for Canadian Tire's traditional and digital flyers, social media and online advertising and in-store advertising.
"The content we share on Facebook has to be different than Twitter or YouTube or TSN.ca or what you see on our digital screens in our stores," Duncan Fulton, senior vice-president at Canadian Tire, said in a statement.
"TSN is an expert in sports content creation in Canada and they will help us rapidly scale our capabilities to continue to inspire our customers and employees."
Canadian Tire says the multimillion dollar partnership is being funded by its existing marketing and advertising budgets.
