TSX Venture Exchange is home to 49 life sciences companies with a total market capitalization of $0.9 billion as of March 31, 2008. TSX Venture Exchange life sciences companies raised $7.4 million in equity capital in the first quarter of 2008, and $87.9 million in 2007. Over 223 million life sciences shares, valued at $116 million, traded on TSX Venture Exchange in the first quarter of 2008.
